The Look @ Me Now writing piece was the first writing piece of the year in Humanities, and it was mainly centered around 10 different literary devices (foreshadow, symbolism, irony, flashback, antagonist, protagonist, characterization, conflict, setting, and theme) in which we wrote a paragraph on where we stand/stood in our lives for each device. It was basically like writing a piece of literature based on our lives. I thought that doing this was a good transition into the year because it allowed us to write about ourselves while using vital literary devices that we would most likely be using and reading throughout the year.
